+ What is Parkedin™?

Parkedin™ is a mobile parking app. With an accepted form of payment, customers can pay for parking using Parkedin™ by:

  • Downloading the mobile app;
  • Using the scan-to-pay option available at the parking facility

In addition to making payments, you can also use the Parkedin™ mobile app to:

  • Book and manage parking reservations,
  • Sign up for parking permits;
  • Store Digital Permits
  • Find parking

Please be advised that these services are only available when offered by the parking lot.

+ Do I have to download the Parkedin™ app to pay for parking?

Although a mobile app option is available, you are not required to download the Parkedin™ mobile app to pay for parking.

Instead, you can use the app-free, scan-to-pay option, which consists of scanning a QR code from your mobile device. Depending on the parking facility, QR codes will be displayed on signage throughout the parking lot or located on the entry ticket you obtained when you entered the parking facility.

Once you scan the QR code, follow the payment prompts.

If you are paying for parking on behalf of someone and cannot scan a QR code, visit www.parkedin.com and follow the prompts.

+ Do I have to create an account to use Parkedin™?

Creating an account is not required to use Parkedin™. Parkedin™ offers Guest checkout services. When you check out as a Guest on Parkedin, your receipt will be emailed to you.

+ Do I have to display a parking receipt on my dashboard when I use Parkedin™ to pay for parking?

You do not need to display a receipt on your dashboard when you pay for parking on Parkedin™.

+ What can I do without downloading the Parkedin™ mobile app?

Customers can pay for parking without downloading the Parkedin™ mobile app at both gated and non-gated parking facilities. However, they can pay for parking within the app if they choose to.

Once your transaction is processed, a receipt will be emailed to you. If you have a Parkedin™ account, you can also view previous receipts in the “Transaction History” section of the app.

+ When I try to register an account with Parkedin™, my phone number and/or email address are rejected. What can I do?

Please verify you are entering your information in the correct format. Receiving an "email already exists" notification implies that an account has already been created with this email address.

If you do not remember the login credentials for your account, you can reset your password with the “Forgot Password” option.

If you continue to experience difficulties, please contact us.

+ Can I delete my account?

To delete your account from the Parkedin™ mobile app, click the Menu/Setting Button, then navigate to Manage account -> Delete account. You will be required to enter your account password to proceed.

To delete your account online, you must be logged in. Then click on "Complete Profile," scroll to the bottom of the web page and see the "Delete Account" section.

+ How can I verify that my parking transaction/session is valid?

Upon successful payment, the Parkedin™ app will send a confirmation email to the email address provided. The email offers all transaction details, such as an authorization number and the time the session is valid.

+ Do I have to be in the parking lot to use Parkedin™? Can I use Parkedin from anywhere?

You do not need to be in the parking lot to use Parkedin™. The platform can be used as a web-based and mobile app service to pay for parking from anywhere. Before using Parkedin™, please ensure the service is offered at your location.

+ What happens if I input the wrong information and pay for parking?

If you accidentally pay for parking using incorrect information, you are required to re-pay for parking using the correct information, and contact us here to request a refund on the original transaction.

+ How do I reset my Parkedin password?

To change your Parkedin™ account password, click on the hamburger menu icon located at the top right corner, then choose "Manage account," followed by "Change password".

PAYMENT

+ How can parking enforcement verify that I have paid for parking using Parkedin™?

When you use Parkedin™ to pay for parking, your transaction and active session length are communicated to a cloud-based software used by parking enforcement officers to confirm active parking sessions.

+ How do I add my credit card information when registering for a Parkedin™ account?

On the app, click the Menu/Setting Button. Then, navigate to Payment Cards -> New Payment Card. Input the billing information, then click “Continue”.

Alternatively, your credit card information can be saved on your Parkedin™ account during checkout.

+ Is my payment secure?

Yes, payments made using the Parkedin™ mobile app and web-based platform undergo secure and certified payment processing complying with level-1 (highest level) Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards.

+ Do I have to pay to use Parkedin™?

You do not need to pay to use the Parkedin™ service. The mobile app and web-based platform are free services.

If you create an account with Parkedin™, you will be instructed to create an account on www.parkedin.com or via the Parkedin mobile app, available for download on Google Play and the App Store.

Depending on the location, you may be required to pay a convenience fee when completing a transaction. Convenience fees vary per location and will be displayed before you confirm payment.

+ Will I automatically get a reminder when my paid parking session is about to expire?

Yes, an email reminder will be sent to the email address provided at least 10 minutes before the parking session is about to expire. Additionally, the original email receipt of payment will have a link to extend your parking session any time during your stay.

+ Can I obtain a summary of parking payments made?

If you have created an account with Parkedin™, you can view your parking history and transactions within the “Transaction History” section.

If you made your payment as a Guest, the receipt sent to the email address provided would be the only payment record. If you would like to obtain the receipt again, you can contact us, provide the details of your transaction and ask for the receipt to be re-sent to the registered email address.

+ Can I be overcharged for parking?

The parking operator sets the parking rates. Before you enter your credit card information to complete payment, you must confirm your transaction and the amount associated with it. The credit card you enter will be charged only for the amount authorized.

+ I overpaid for parking by accident, can I receive a refund?

If you overpaid for parking, you must validate that your vehicle was not parked in the parking lot for the amount of time you agreed to pay for.

SCAN-TO-PAY

+ How do I scan-to-pay?

The Parkedin™ scan-to-pay option will vary depending if the facility has a gated parking system or parking meters.

Both require you to scan a QR code or barcode using the camera on your mobile device. To scan using the camera on your mobile device, open the camera app, hold the camera over the code and tap the link that appears. Follow the prompts.

+ How do I use the Parkedin™ scan-to-pay option in gated parking lots?

In a gated parking lot, scan the QR code or barcode on the entry ticket you obtained using the camera on your mobile device. Follow the prompts to pay for parking and proceed to the parking lot exit via car. When you arrive at the parking lot exit, insert your paid ticket into the exit terminal. The gate will lift upon exit.

If you misplaced your entry ticket, scan the QR code on signage throughout the parking lot. Follow the payment prompts. You will be required to pay the daily maximum rate.

+ How do I use the Parkedin™ scan-to-pay option in parking lots with parking meters or no gates?

To use the Parkedin™ scan-to-pay option in a non-gated parking facility with parking meters, scan the QR code on the signage displayed throughout the parking lot using the camera on your mobile device. Enter the parking lot Zone ID displayed next to the QR code on the signage. Follow the payment prompts and proceed to your destination.

Alternatively, you can visit www.parkedin.com, enter the parking lot Zone ID and follow the payment prompts.

RESERVATIONS

+ How do I reserve parking using Parkedin™?

You can reserve parking on the Parkedin™ mobile app or at www.parkedin.com.

+ How can I view upcoming reservations on Parkedin™?

Login to your Parkedin™ account. Select "Parking Reservations" on the Home screen. To view all upcoming reservations, select "My Reservations."

+ How can I view and/ or extend my existing reservation on Parkedin™?

Login to your Parkedin™ account. Your active reservation will appear at the top right of the Home screen. Select the reservation to view details or extend it.

Alternatively, select “Parking Reservations” on the Home screen. Your existing reservation will appear as the first option. Select “View” to view details or “Extend” to extend the reservation.

+ How do I make a reservation on the Parkedin™ mobile app?

To make a reservation on the Parkedin™ mobile app;

  1. Select “Parking Reservations” on the home screen
  2. Enter the desired duration of your parking session
  3. Enter the address of the parking lot where you would like to make your reservation.
  4. Enter your vehicle’s license plate number. Next, review and confirm your reservation details.
  5. Enter your email address to receive your reservation confirmation.
  6. Input your payment information to complete your reservation.
  7. Upon arrival at your destination, scan the QR code at the parking lot entry, exit or an additional service point to confirm you have arrived.

Parkedin™ can also be used to process third-party reservations outside of parking. Alternatively, you can make a parking reservation on www.parkedin.com.

+ Can I cancel my Parkedin™ reservation?

Yes, a reservation can be cancelled 24 hours before the reservation’s start time.

+ If I prepaid for parking but didn’t end up using the parking lot for any reason can I get a refund?

Once the reservation time has started, you are not able to receive a refund.

+ Does making a parking reservation using Parkedin guarantee a parking spot?

No, making a parking reservation using Parkedin does not guarantee you a parking spot.

HPASS

+ How do I activate HPASS on the Parkedin™ mobile app?

To activate HPASS on the Parkedin™ mobile app;

  1. Select the “HPASS” option on the home screen
  2. Select “Register New HPASS” and scan the barcode on the front of the HPASS card
  3. Select the desired number of days you would like to purchase the HPASS for
  4. Then, input your payment and billing information to confirm your purchase

Once you have completed the steps above, your HPASS parking permit is activated and can be used to pay for parking at your location.
